Science FACTS!!!!!

For anyone who hasn't noticed the website change (give me some feedback pls!) we've added a little 'FACT CORNER' for visitors to the site to learn something interesting.

As I trawl websites for info to stick in I was wondering if anyone knows of any interesting facts/stats that they could post to help me out?

An example would be one I heard that a cow is genetically closer to a Whale than a horse!

We would like some one/ a number of people to volunteer to source all our facts for our fact corner!

Visit our volunteers section.

Please write any interesting facts you come across and email to be added to the 'fact corner'.
